Sid Osterman of Pequot Lakes won the King of the Track title at Grove Creek Race

GROVE CITY — Sid Osterman of Pequot Lakes won the King of the Track title at the Grove Creek Raceway Oct. 9.

Osterman, driving a 1968 Chevrolet El Camino, won the title with an elapsed time of 8.627.

King of the Track is a special race where winners from each class run off at the end of the day and the winner is declared King of the Track. The King of the Track receives a Wally Trophy.

Osterman also won the Street Eliminator championship with an elapsed time of 8.874. He also made it to the semifinals in the Pro ET (B2) category.

Lindsey Juers of Wadena was runner-up in Junior Drag Advanced (ages 13-17), driving a 2008 Hercules to an ET of 7.920.
