College Baseball: Hits not enough for CLC in 2 losses

THIEF RIVER FALLS—Josh Fussy provided offense in both games, going 3-7 with a homer and a double, but Central Lakes dropped a pair of games to Northland on Wednesday afternoon.

The losing streak grew to seven straight for the Raiders, who dropped to 4-13 overall.

In Game One, Fussy and Alan Pietila each gathered a hit and an RBI in a 3-2 loss for the Raiders. Eric Hinnenkamp gave up just one earned run, striking out three in six innings pitched.

The Raiders broke out the bats in Game Two, knocking out 10 hits in a 10-5 loss to the Pioneers.

Fussy homered and doubled, finishing 2-4 with two RBI, and two runs scored. Malich Barry also doubled and Jacob Neumann was 2-3 with a run scored.
