The Central Lakes College Raiders experienced another difficult afternoon Saturday as they fell behind early, and could not dig their way back as they dropped their eighth straight game, 73-55, to the Riverland Blue Devils in a Southern Division game.

Stephanie Neugebauer scored 19 points and finished with seven rebounds to lead the Raiders. Nikki Pearson was next with 12 points, and Kelsey Wheeler led the team in rebounds with eight.

The Blue Devils opened a 38-26 lead at the half even though they shot a lower percentage from the field than the Raiders. The Blue Devils shot 31 percent while CLC shot 37 percent.

CLC went just 1-for-8 behind the arc, and finished 3-15 for the game. The Blue Devils outscored the Raiders by 14 on free throws and threes.
