COLLEGE FOOTBALL: Raiders balanced in 20-point victory

FERGUS FALLS — The Taz in Taz Seibert might be short for Tasmanian Devil as the Central Lakes College running back ran wild over the Fergus Falls Spartans Saturday.

Seibert carried the ball 18 times for 109 yards and a touchdown and caught three passes for 30 yards leading the Raiders to a 26-6 South Division victory.

Jordan Hayes scored two touchdowns and rushed for 49 yards on nine carries as CLC rushed for 193 yards and outgained Fergus Falls 366-166.

Raider quarterback Carson Wessinger was 15-of-17 for 128 yards and an interception. He found Averey Duncan for a 15-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter for the Raider’s final score.

As a team CLC passed the ball efficiently hitting on 19-of-23 passes for 173 yards and just one interception.

CLC’s defense held the Spartans to 87 yards rushing and 79 yards passing. Nate Bigley intercepted a pass and Peter Stenger and Nate Hofman each had fumble recoveries.
