WOMEN’S BASKETBALL: Bismarck State routs Raiders

BISMARCK, N.D. — Nikki Pearson scored 12 points but was the only Raider in double figures as Central Lakes College lost to Bismarck State 86-42 in the Warren Arman Classic on Saturday.

With the loss, CLC drops to 0-4 this season.

CLC coach Dennis Eastman did see some bright spots from the weekend tournament.

“The girls kept working,” he said. “Bismarck State was averaging 90 points a game, and they were a very good team.

“It was good competition, which will make us better down the road. We need to take care of the ball better but we are learning and doing positive things.”
