Men's College Basketball: Raiders roll over Rainy River

INTERNATIONAL FALLS — Bryan Gichaba’s 29 points helped lead the Central Lakes College Raiders to a 104-63 Northern Division blowout of Rainy River Saturday.

Gichaba shot 11-14 from the field and 7-8 from the line in the 23 minutes he was on the court.

Quincy Bethea added 16 points, Marcus Brown notched 13 points and Alex Koch scored 12 points for the Raiders sixth division win.

“It was a great win on the road,” said Raiders head coach Jim Russell. “We had a stretch of three games on the road and it was great to have it finished off with everyone being involved.

“Gichaba had a great game and overall it was a great team effort. One of the big reasons we won this game was that the point guards really took care off the basketball and helped with assists.”
