Men's College Golf: Halverson paces UND at Jackrabbit Invitational

PRIMM, Nev. — Senior Sean Halverson of Brainerd was the top golfer for the University of North Dakota men’s team at the recent Jackrabbit Invitational.

Halverson had two rounds in the 70s during the 54-hole event that saw Nevada-Las Vegas run away with the team title. The Rebels had the low team score in each round, finishing at 845 (-19).

Halverson shared the team’s low round during the opening 18 holes with sophomore Brady Ohman at 77 (+5). He then carded a 78 (+6) in the second round and an 84 (+12) in his final round. He finished tied for 68th (239, +23).

The Green and White finished 14th (962, +98) and return to action March 31 in the Wallace Jones Invitational at Calhoun, La.
