Men's College Basketball: Jamestown's Hoge honored

University of Jamestown senior and Crosby-Ironton High School graduate Mark Hoge was named a 2014 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics All-American for the second time.

Hoge finished his career with 190 3-pointers and 1,523 total points. This places him seventh all-time in scoring for the Jimmies’ men’s basketball program.

During the 2012-13 season, his 555 points were the fourth-most in a season. In the 2013-14 season, his 522 points were ninth-most.

Hoge added 307 assists, 133 of them in his senior campaign.

He grabbed 486 rebounds and collected 163 steals.

Earlier, Hoge was named the most valuable player of the North Star Athletic Association and most valuable graduating senior. He was named to the NSAA first team.

Jamestown finished 17-12 overall. The Jimmies were 7-1 in the NSAA to win the regular-season conference championship and then won the conference tournament.
