Semipro Football: Raiders rough up Terror
CHISAGO LAKES — Ra Ra Jones racked up 101 yards in receiving and caught his 16th touchdown of the season as the Brainerd Lumberjacks defeated the Northern Terror 31-14 Saturday.
Brainerd led 28-0 in the fourth quarter before the Terror went on a 14-3 run.
Mark Hummel passed for 345 yards and two touchdowns, while also adding a rushing touchdown.
Wade Steier notched 65 receiving yards and led the team in tackles on the defensive side of the ball with eight.
Clarence Tahi added 85 yards on the ground for the Lumberjacks.
Eric Johnson notched four sacks and thirty yards of rushing on three carries. Johnson added a spark on special teams with a 60-yard kick return.
Brainerd improves to 8-2 and will play its regular season finale Saturday against the 9-1 and current top-seeded Twin Cities Rhinos at Franklin Arts Center in Brainerd.
