Best bets Our picks for this weekend and the week ahead
SATURDAY: MUSIC
Jazzy George and Tom
Two jazz shows collide at 7:30 p.m. Saturday. The George Maurer Group will perform in the Pequot Lakes High School auditorium while the Tom Prin Trio will be at the Centennial Auditorium in Staples. Tickets are $8-$12 for Maurer and $7-$15 for Prin.

What, no Arnold?
We already know from "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" that Sarah Connor dies of leukemia and John Connor survives to lead the resistance against Skynet, so there's no real suspense to "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles." However, it does have "Terminator" in the title and Summer Glau in the cast, so it might be cool. The robot-on-robot action begins at 7 p.m. Sunday and 8 p.m. Monday on Fox.

'Paths' well traveled
"Parallel Paths: 3 Destinations," featuring artwork by Shirley Linborg-Hove, Barb Esse and Bill Gossman, will have its reception from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Great River Arts Center in downtown Little Falls. The exhibit will be on display through Feb. 28.
