Virnig, Monson lead Pierz Pioneers BOYS' BASKETBALL
PIERZ - Bryan Virnig and Dustin Monson each had 17 points as the Pierz Pioneers defeated Long Prairie-Grey Eagle 73-56 in non-conference boys' basketball Monday.
Matt Przybilla and Chad Lanners each added 13 points for the Pioneers. Lanners grabbed nine rebounds and Monson seven. Przybilla also had six assists and five steals.
