PEQUOT LAKES - Sam Rosenthal scored 12 points and Brittany Miller finished with 11 to lead the Staples-Motley Cardinals past the Pequot Lakes Patriots 52-41 in Mid-State Conference girls' basketball Tuesday.

Kayla Lenz scored eight points in the loss for the Patriots.
