Warriors cruise past FF GIRLS' HOCKEY
FERGUS FALLS - Elle Adams opened the scoring off an assist from Jess Bye and the Brainerd Warriors girls' hockey team went on to defeat the Fergus Falls Otters 5-1 in a Central Lakes Conference contest Thursday.
Adams finished with two goals and two assists while Bye and Alyssa Wiebusch each tallied a goal and an assist for the Warriors. Ronia Gramer netted the final goal off an assist from Whitney Joyce.
Warrior goalies Kayla Helmberger and Kristi Ericksen teamed up to stop 20 shots in the victory.
