LOCAL BRIEFS Soil and water special meeting Monday
BAXTER - The Crow Wing Soil and Water Conservation District Board of Supervisors will host a special meeting at 9 a.m. Monday in the Ag Service Center, 7118 Clearwater Road in Baxter.
The board of supervisors will discuss personnel issues and the filling of an open board supervisor position. Other items will be discussed as necessary. The next regular meeting will be Feb. 21. Regular meetings of the Crow Wing SWCD are 9 a.m. on the third Tuesday of each month. All meetings are open to the public.
Region Five Commission to meet Feb. 23
STAPLES - The Region Five Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 23 at the Region Five office in Staples.
