Five Pioneers in double figures Pierz edges Howard Lake
HOWARD LAKE -- Five Pierz Pioneers scored in double figures led by Mark Korf's 13 points to beat Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted 69-65 in a Central Minnesota Conference shootout Thursday.
Shane Weber finished with 12 points and five rebounds, Bryan Virnig and Scott Herold both scored 11 points and Peter Janson added 10 points.
