LOCAL BRIEFS Koering named to two legislative panels
ST. PAUL -- Sen. Paul Koering, R-Fort Ripley, was appointed to the Legislative Commission on Health Care Access and the Cuyuna Country State Recreation Area Advisory Committee.
The Legislative Commission on Health Care Access is a 10-member oversight commission the Legislature created in 1992 to review the progress of the Department of Health, the Minnesota Health Care Commission and other agencies involved in implementing the MinnesotaCare law. Koering currently serves on the Senate Health Care Committee.
The Cuyuna Country advisory panel provides direction, planning, development and operation of the state recreation area.
Yoga class offered
