Basketball tournaments gave free play to the enthusiasm of partisan crowds. So far no spectator has died of heart disease, but if we have any more close games like the Brainerd-Staples 11-10 mix up, we know some who may have to be treated or revived.

Misses Maude and May O'Brien were hostesses at a very pleasant sleigh riding party last night. A merry party of about 20 drove to the home of T.J. Sewell and had supper and spent a jolly evening.
