To recruit a new administrator, Crow Wing County's consultant Springsted Inc. came up with an overview of the lakes area and its attributes.
But when it came to culture, there was a sole entry - the Crow Wing County Historical Society Museum.
Commissioners and elected officials suggested area music, theater and other arts such as the Franklin Arts Center should be included along with premiere lakes, parks, golf courses, festivals, even hunting and fishing.
"To say nothing of the drama (Commissioner) Paul Thiede provides here," said Board Chairwoman Rachel Reabe Nystrom, getting laughs from the board table.
