A $500 donation from the Brainerd Area Senior Citizen Center to "Geritol Frolics" was sweet music to Everett Nelson, a Frolics orchestra member who played "Let me Serenade You" on his violin.

The National Guard Armory in Brainerd will be the scene of the biggest Scouting show in the area Saturday and Sunday, April 20, 21, as the Scouts present their annual Scout-o-rama.

Brainerd will not go short of ham for Easter but there may be a tightening of meats of some kinds before the end of the week. But the situation on the whole is not as bad as in some of the large cities.

A special meeting of the Chamber of Commerce has been called for tonight by President R. E. Wyett to take decisive action on making Brainerd the starting point of the marathon run to Minneapolis in April.
