Public's help is sought in finding missing LF woman
LITTLE FALLS - The Morrison County Sheriff's Department is seeking the public's help in finding a 20-year-old woman missing since mid-February.
Allison Sipila, identified as a vulnerable adult by the sheriff's department, had a doctor's appointment Feb. 14 in Little Falls and has not been heard from or seen since.
Sipila's family reported her disappearance to the sheriff's department on Wednesday. She may be in the Twin Cities area and her weight may have increased or decreased dramatically.
Sipila has been known to befriend strangers in the past and the family is concerned this may place her in a dangerous position, the sheriff's department reported.
Sipila is a white female, 5 feet 4 inches tall and about 140 pounds. She has blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, gray tennis shoes and a white ski jacket.
Anyone with information about Sipila or her whereabouts is asked to call the Morrison County Sheriff's Department at (320) 632-9233.
