Price war waged by Milaca gas stations. Gasoline prices dropped to 38 cents a gallon and cars lined up for blocks as two service stations waged an old fashioned price war.

The Nelson Coal yards, 316 South Eighth Street, have been purchased by Joe Gustafson. The purchase was made from A.J. Dondelinger, former owner of the yards.
