Commerce & Industry show celebrates 30th year starting Friday
The 30th Annual Commerce & Industry Marketplace is planned from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Brainerd Area Civic Center and Gold Medal Arena in Brainerd.
This year's major sponsor is UCare Minnesota. More than 150 businesses will be displaying their products and services, as well as offering samples, special buys and demonstrations.
Admission is free.
Prizes will be awarded through hourly drawings. Companies donating prizes include: Brainerd International Raceway; Brainerd Soft Water; CTC; Domino's Pizza; Good Samaritan Society Communities of Brainerd and Pine River; Grand Casino, Mille Lacs; H& H Builders and Supplies; Harmon Glass; Hirshfield's; Kitchen Kraft; Minnesota Backyard Birds; Morton Building; Northland Fire Protection; Pine Grove Zoo; Pioneer Phone Books; Prudential Financial (Roger LaPointe); Sprint; The UPS Store; and UCare Minnesota.
The Commerce and Industry Marketplace is by the Brainerd Lakes Area Chambers of Commerce and UCare Minnesota.
