Thirty-four students from nine school districts are listed as participants in the North Central Minnesota Citizen Bee in Brainerd April 7. They will compete for the right to advance to the state Citizen Bee in April.

Brainerd area children again gathered in large numbers for Saturday's annual YMCA-sponsored Easter egg hunt at the Crow Wing County Fairgrounds. This year's group of hunters was the largest ever.

The S & L store here is holding a grand remodeling celebration tomorrow, according to Will Anderson, manager. Both the exterior and interior of the building have undergone remodeling.

Ben F. Taylor, coach at Brainerd Junior College athletics and associated as a teacher and coach in the Brainerd Public Schools since 1940, handed his resignation to the Board of Education.
