Basic Rider course scheduled LOCAL BRIEF
Central Lakes College in Brainerd will again host the Basic Rider Course for beginning motorcyclists.
This course is designed with the beginner in mind, but is also designed to challenge experienced riders. The curriculum and materials are supplied by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation and instructors are MSF-certified.
The course includes both classroom and on-cycle instruction, with high-quality, personalized coaching and several hours of practice riding. Motorcycles are provided at no charge.
Riders age 18 and up can earn their motorcycle license by successfully completing the course. It is recommended that registrants have a permit before attending this class.
The fee is $160. Dates and times are 5:30-10 p.m. April 19 and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. or 2-7 p.m. April 21 and 22.
