Salvation Army exceeds March goal
Beatrice Bjorklund, volunteer at the Salvation Army in Brainerd, sorted bags of food Wednesday in Brainerd. The organization exceeded its goal for food and monetary donation in March. It collected more than 26,000 pounds of food and more than $29,000 in donations from schools, churches, civic clubs, businesses, private donors and others.
