Music General Performing Line dancers earn awards at contest


The Music General Performing Line dancers competed at the 37th annual Minnesota Dance Contest on March 27 and 28 in Wayzata.

More than 100 dancers from Music General competed with 23 other dance studios from the metro area in tap and jazz dance. Overall the group earned 14 first-place awards and seven second-place awards.

Sparklers (age 7 large group): "Old MacDonald Had a Farm," tap, first; "My Baby," jazz, first. Madi Adams, Kaitlyn Christiansen, Angela Cole, Mackenzie Dondelinger, Megan Duhn, Ellie Erholtz, Hanna Erickson, Abby Holloway, Emalie Johnson, Madi Landsburg, Nikki Leland, Trevina Smith, Morgan A.
