Premium White 70-80 percent lean 57.20-65.00 60.75-65.00 57.20; Breaking 70-80 percent lean 53.50-56.50 55.00-56.50 53.50-54.25; Boning 80-85 percent lean 51.25-56.00 53.00-56.00 51.25-52.00; Lean 85-90 percent lean 45.00-56.00 50.25-56.00 45.00-47.00.

Bulls: Yield Grade 1-2 1260-1995 lbs. 61.00-65.25.

For the week: Compared to last week, slaughter steers sold steady to 4.00 higher while slaughter heifers sold 1.00 to 5.00 higher on a light market test. Holstein steers also sold 1.00 to 5.00 higher. Slaughter cows were generally 3.00 higher while slaughter bulls were steady with instances of 1.00 higher. Trade was active with good demand for all slaughter classes. Supply was light for both slaughter steers and heifers and moderate for all other classes.

Barrows and Gilts: Compared to Thursday, steady. 47-50 percent lean 220-270 lbs. 43.50-45.00; 44-48 percent lean 270-290 lbs. 41.50-44.00; 43-46 percent lean 290-300 lbs. 40.50-42.00.

Sows: Steady.

U.S. 1-2: 300-500 lbs. 41.00-42.00.

U.S. 1-3: 500-600 lbs. 43.00-45.00; over 600 lbs. 45.00.

Boars: Steady. 270-300 lbs. 31.00; 300-700 lbs. 8.00.

Sheep estimate: 50. Last Friday: 0. Year Ago Friday: 0. Thursday actual: 43.

Compared to Thursday, all classes sold steady. Supply near 45 percent slaughter lambs, 10 percent slaughter ewes and 45 percent feeder lambs.
