Continued hot temperatures, very low humidity and increasing winds have created weather conditions causing explosive fire condition in the forest areas.

The addition of a new lunch counter and back bar, together with several minor improvements has added greatly to the appearance of Van's Cafe at Sixth and Main streets.

C.B. White and several of his men are engaged today in putting an inclined floor in the unique theater. This should add to the popularity of that already popular place of amusement.
