Bob Anderson of the Brainerd Parks and Recreation Department talked to Whittier and Lake Region Christian School students Friday in Gregory Park before planting a tree for Arbor Day.
After the original Arbor Day tree planting was postponed a week earlier because of snow, the schools observed the annual event in the park by planting a maple tree.
