Morgan Salo battled back from a first set loss and captured the Brainerd Warriors lone singles victory Tuesday in a 4-3 Central Lakes Conference victory over Sartell in Brainerd.
Salo lost 3-6 in the first set before rebounding to win the next two sets 6-2, 6-3 at No. 2 singles.
Cory Kuglin-Nathan Henningson held on after a second set loss to win in three sets at No. 1 doubles. The No. 2 doubles team of Michael Ruen-Jared Anderson soundly won their match 6-0, 6-2.
At No. 3 doubles Christopher Rud Garth Askegaard won in straight sets as well.
"We competed well across the board and we had to find those four points and we did," Warriors head coach Bruce Thompson said.
Brainerd remains on top of the conference with an 8-1 record.
