The Exchange Club of Brainerd recently honored Russ Penner as its May "Student of the Month." Russ, the son of Bernhard and Carol Penner, is a senior at Brainerd High School.

The Brainerd Civic Association moved today to cooperate with mayors and civic groups of Cuyuna Range towns in bringing about an adjustment of difference which would return iron ore miners on the range to the pits.
