FINLAYSON - Emily Mehr remained perfect this season and led the Aitkin Gobblers to a 9-1 Great River Conference softball victory Saturday.
Mehr struck out five and allowed one hit and one walk to improve to 7-0. Aitkin jumped to 6-1 in the conference and 9-2 overall.
Kelsey Klucas finished 4-for-5. Lauren Eno was 2-5 with an RBI. Kristy Hoge and Briana Croatt each finished 2-4 with two RBIs. Kristi Cummings was 2-4 with a double and Mehr added a double and RBI.

"We played a good all-around game," said Aitkin head coach Mark Mehr. "We did a nice job of manufacturing runs and getting hits when we needed them."
