Manfred "Fritz" Bertelt, Central Lakes College instructor, spoke at the CLC employee recognition event recently with a 40-year retrospective on service to higher education in Minnesota. He is retiring. On Thursday, as the senior faculty member, he will lead the Brainerd commencement procession one last time as grand marshal. Graduation ceremonies will be at 7 p.m. in the Brainerd High School gymnasium. Staples campus graduation ceremonies are 7 p.m. today in Centennial Auditorium at Staples-Motley High School.
