A 15-year-old girl suffered a severe head injury Tuesday afternoon after the four-wheeler she was on flipped on Crow Wing County Road 9, near 70th Street, in Long Lake Township southeast of Brainerd.
Lauren Michelle Grabham of Olathe, Kan., was one of four children riding on the four-wheeler in the ditch right-of-way about 12:46 p.m. Tuesday when it rolled while going up an embankment, the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Department reported.
Grabham was airlifted from the scene to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. Information on her condition was unavailable Tuesday afternoon.
The driver, Brexten Shae Pearl, 11, Brainerd, was transported to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd, where he was reported in good condition.
Another passenger, Emma Rose Pearl, 10, Brainerd, was treated at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd and released. A third passenger, Paul Joseph Sipp, 10, Olathe, Kan., was not hospitalized.
