EAST GULL LAKE - Cass County Sheriff's Department authorities are searching for a burglary suspect who fired a gun at a homeowner Monday afternoon.
The Cass County Sheriff's Department reported that about noon Monday an East Gull Lake resident who had been gone about 25 minutes returned to his home and interrupted a burglary.
The homeowner told deputies the burglary suspect had found a handgun in the residence, fired one shot, dropped the handgun and fled. No one was injured in the incident, the sheriff's department reported.
The suspect was described as a white male in his mid- to late-20s wearing blue jeans and a gray-hooded sweatshirt.
