Despite eight errors, the Brainerd Bees only lost by one run, 10-9, to the Granite City Grays in amateur baseball Wednesday.
Reid Mimmack went 2-for-5 with three RBIs. Mike Germain also drove in three runs. Tim Martin scored three runs on two walks and two hits.
Joel Martin, Blake Eller and Chris Smolke combined for three earned runs, nine hits, eight strikeouts and eight walks.
The Bees move to 5-2 and are at St. Joseph at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.
