Care packages for soldiers
Operation Interdependence founder Albert R. Renteria held a letter and a plastic bag of items the organization will send to troops serving overseas in Operation Interdependence's 14th shipping Friday in the former Brainerd Lakes Area Senior Activity Center dining room on South Fifth Street. Rachel Cross, an organization volunteer, is at left. The organization relies on people to donate items to send to troops and doesn't use any military resources.
