The Brainerd High School activities department has established the following timelines for participating in a fall sport.
Through June 13, pre-registration forms and a $30 down payment are due.
Please stop in the main office at BHS, South Campus or Forestview Middle School to pick up pre-registration forms. Participants may pay in the office or online.
Staffing and other budget decisions will need to be determined, based on preliminary numbers of athletes who participate in pre-registration.
Between July 21-31, final payment and complete registration packets are due.
Bonsante boxes Friday
Crosby-Ironton native Anthony "The Bullet" Bonsante will box Teddy Muller in the main event at Grand Casino Hinckley at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Hinckley.
Bonsante (30-9-3) was scheduled to fight Carl Daniels but Daniels is on medical suspension following his last fight.
Muller has 19 wins, nine by knockout, and 13 losses. The 6-3 boxer lost a 10-round decision to Alan Green, who stopped Bonsante in five rounds.

Whitefish women's golf
A first-place tie was the result of the "cha-cha-cha" event May 28 during the Whitefish women's 18-hole league.
The tying teams consisted of Anita Stensby, Marguerite Baker, Sandy Meyer and Norma Pavek and the team of Helen McGrath, Barb Holubar, Darlene Bonnema and Shari Loechler.
Third place went to Enga Wodziak, Joan Kantos, Mary Ann Erickson and Lois Haglund.
Betsy Otteson shot 67 for low net.
Carding birdies were Baker, Jan DuBois, Barb Handson (2) and Kathy Wernberg. Darlene Bonnema had a chip in.
