A brief thunderstorm Tuesday afternoon brought dime-sized hail, strong winds with 51 mph gusts and .42 inches of rain, according to the National Weather Service in Duluth.
Following the storm, temperatures dropped from a high of 87 degrees to 70 degrees in a matter of minutes. When the storm passed, temps returned to the mid 80s.
