NISSWA - Dan Bendzick and Burrell Flanagan pitched solid games as Nisswa swept Bemidji 3-2 and 5-3 Tuesday.
In Game One, Bendzick pitched a complete-game five-hitter. He struck out five and walked three.
Nisswa's Ethan Nichols was 2-for-3 with an RBI and run scored. Trevor Thompson and Casey Christianson were 1-3 with RBIs and Zac Voels was 1-3.
In the second game, Flanagan went five innings, with four walks and one earned run. He allowed six hits. Thompson finished and benefited from an inning-ending double play in the sixth.
Jon Rans was 2-3 with an RBI, Desmond Janousek 1-3 with two stolen bases, Voels was 1-2 with an RBI and Craig McCluney had a sacrifice fly.

Ironton 4, McGregor 1
IRONTON - Pete Vukelich went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Kyle Pribyl pitched a complete game as Ironton defeated McGregor 4-1 Tuesday.
Pribyl had seven strikeouts and four walks and allowed one earned run. He also went 1-3.
Phil Kuhlmann and Michael Hoge each were 1-2 with Hoge driving in a run.

AITKIN - Kyle Hoffman went 3-for-3 with four RBIs and pitched a complete game as Aitkin defeated Crosslake-Fifty Lakes-Pequot Lakes 8-3 Tuesday.
Hoffman had seven strikeouts and two walks. He gave up five hits and two earned runs.
Andrew Welshons was 1-3 with two RBIs for Aitkin.
