The Brainerd Police Department will host a community notification meeting Tuesday about a Level 3 sex offender who is moving July 1 to the 200 block of Seventh Street North in Brainerd.
The meeting will be 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Brainerd Police Department community room, 225 E. River Road, Brainerd.
Harold Lacy
The Minnesota Department of Corrections will provide a presentation on the Minnesota Offender Notification laws, safety tips and information pertaining to the offender. Members of the Brainerd Police Department and the Minnesota DOC will be available to answer questions.
The man has been identified as Harold Clayton Lacy, 36. Lacy is 5 foot, 11 inches, and weighs 288 pounds. He has a history of assaulting victims, who are adult females, and holding them against their will. Lacy was known to his victims.
Brainerd Police Chief John Bolduc said Lacy is from Anoka County.
