Doris M. Tomsyck
Doris Mae Tomsyck, age 85, of Brainerd, died on June 27, 2009, at her home.
She was born on Jan. 17, 1924 in Wisconsin Rapids, Wis., to Frank and Gladys (Knox) Moulton. She married John Peter Tomsyck on June 29, 1946, in Port Edwards, Wis.
She is survived by her husband John; one son, John (Lee) Tomsyck of St. Paul; two daughters, Mary Kay (Donald) Groff of Eagan and Patricia (Bruce) Johnson of Duluth; six grandchildren, Amanda Baggenstoss, Sara Phillips, Aran Hartl, Peter Johnson, Robin Tomsyck and Molly Johnson; six great-grandchildren, Madeline and Drew Baggenstoss, Mason and Amelia Hartl, Lyla Phillips and Samuel Johnson.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Arthur Moulton; and one sister, Dorothy Hagen.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Deerwood. Burial will be at the Bay Lake Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday one hour prior to the services at the church.
Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
