PRINCETON - Brainerd's sophomore team swept a doubleheader from Princeton by scores of 16-1 in five innings and 11-5 Monday.
In Game One, Mitch Bzdok pitched a complete game and had two hits. He allowed one earned run and four hits, struck out six and walked two.
Bruce London was 4-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs, Blaine Bubalo was 2-5 with a 3-run homer, double and four RBIs. Kevin Peterson, Mike Smith and Jack Luke all had 2 hits.
In Game Two, Chris Sausen pitched a complete game and had two hits.
Jack Hegarty was 2-3 with two walks and two RBIs, Sausen was 2-3 with two walks and a double and Jake Mettler had a 2-run single.
