Ronald W. Cash
FALCON, Colo. - Ronald Wayne Cash was born May 26, 1956, in Brainerd, Minn. He passed away on Sunday evening, June 28, 2009, at the age of 53, after a long surgery on his heart in Colorado Springs.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, two children Trisha Collins and Stephanie Henderson; three grandchildren; three brothers; one sister; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence; mother, Mary; and two brothers, Harry and Jim.
Ron moved to Colorado Springs in 1979 where he met the love of his life, Cheryl, in 1983. They were married July 20, 1987. He worked for Scotts Hyponex in Fountain, Colo., for more than 20 years. He moved to Falcon, Colo., in 1989 and was a resident since. Ron was a well loved man and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was an outdoorsman, who was always fixing something or helping out a friend. He loved to go hunting every year with family and friends. He was hardworking and always available to lend a hand. He will be greatly missed and loved.
Memorial services will be held Monday, July 6, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 3825 Airport Road, Colorado Springs, Colo. Flowers can be sent to the Memorial Gardens or donations can be made in Ron's name to the National Marfan Foundation, 22 Manhasset Avenue, Port Washington, N.Y. 11050 or e-mail staff@marfan.org.
