The Brainerd Post Office will operate on a holiday schedule Friday in observance of the Fourth of July.
Regular residential and business deliveries will not be made on Friday and usual post office lobby services will not be available except for post office lock box services.
Mailing services will not be available at the Baxter branch station located at the Triangle Super America in Baxter.
Mail pick-up from collection boxes will be done on the holiday schedule posted on individual boxes.
Banks will be closed.
Grocery stores will be open regular business hours.
Convenience stores will be open regular business hours.
Retail stores will be open Friday.
Government offices, including Brainerd city offices, Baxter city offices and county offices, will be closed Friday.
The Brainerd Public Library will be closed Friday.
The Brainerd Dispatch business office will be closed Friday. There will be a Friday morning newspaper.
