North Central Speedway officials announces they have been forced to cancel the scheduled World of Outlaw Late Model race July 9 because of the inability to reach a contract with the organization.
"We would have thought the World of Outlaws would have been somewhat supportive in helping promote this event, but I have not heard a word from them since late February," NCS track promoter Tim Boeder said in a news release. "When they did finally contact me this week, many of the details of the event changed, including hopes of getting a World of Outlaw Sprint date Aug. 20. We never even had a contract with them for this year."
Late Model fans will welcome back the World Dirt Racing League for a July 28 event paying $5,000 to the winner. Wissota Midwest Modifieds and Super Stocks will also be in action that night, each racing for $1,000 to win.
Ticket information may be found soon at www.racencs.com.
