Team shoots 32 to win at Legacy GOLF LEAGUES
Tricia Jasmer, Wendy Jones, Molly Gerber and Becky Schornack shot 32 to win the scramble event on the front nine of Bobby's Course during the June 30 women's night at the Legacy Courses at Cragun's.
Tracy Gustafson had the longest putt and Ashley Rothstein was closest to the pin.
On the back nine of Bobby's Jo Ellen Einerwold and Renee Rivard shot 33 for the low score. Einerwold also was closest to the pin and Kristi Sachs made the longest putt.
There was a three-way tie for first on the Par 3 Course between Tammy Wisniewski, Dawn Imgrund, Kate Swanson, Deb Kline and Erin Books, Jessica Gangl, Nicki Fett, Jamie Clough, Rachel Woltheisen and Jean Myer, Carol Dinndorf, Sue Miller and Katie Nelson.
Colleen Hammer had the longest putt and Kline was closest to the pin.
Breezy Point men
The second half of the men's twilight golf league at Breezy Point Resort kicks off Thursday with Dockside facing Dick Parks Gas, Mills Motor vs. Pestello's, Commander/JJ's vs. Thomas & Associates and Midway Park Bank getting the first-round bye.
Breezy Point women
Sandy O'Day's total of 12 putts was low during the July 2 low putts event for the Breezy Point Resort women's league on the Traditional Course.
Kathy Zener and Buny Oseland tied for second with 16.
In the guess your score game Verna Miller (score of 46 with a guess of 47) and Barb Owens (score of 50 gues of 51) tied for first.
Judy Thomas was second with a 50 and a guess of 49.
Linda Betker had a chip in and O'Day drained two. O'Day also had a birdie.
Thursday's event will be the mini skill point and will be played at Whitebirch.
GVL results
Naomi Jobes' 47 was the low round during the June 30 GrandView Lodge Outing on the Pines' Woods Course.
Cindy Clow placed second followed by Lynn Parker. Sandy Cook and Barb Wenschlag tied for fourth.
Clow and Parker knocked in the longest putts.
On the Garden Course the first-place team was Ann Powers, Karen Williams, Judy Anderson and Marilyn Sobiech.
Williams sank the longest putt.
The July 14 women's outing wil be at Deacon's Lodge and the next co-ed outing will be July 21 at the Preserve.
Whitefish women
Mary Boeder, Sharon Sullivan, Maxine Riches and Sharon Keister shot a 127 to win the cha-cha-cha event July 1 during the Whitefish women's 18-hole league.
Judy Johnson, Mary Jean Herdey, Barb Holubar and Connie Foster placed second with 129.
The team of Nancy Einan, Judy Eastwood, Marlys Guse and Helen McGrath tied with Cheryl Bontrager, Joan Heuer and two blind draws with 130s.
Bontrager's 63 was low net, while Riches, Johnson, Anita Stensby carded birdies. Mary Ann Erickson also had a birdie thanks to a chip in. Additional chip ins were by Boeder, Keister, Johnson and Sandra Pohl.
Next league play will be July 15.
