Burying the beans
The Burying of the Beans Ceremony, part of Bean Hole Days, took place Tuesday night at Trailside Park in Pequot Lakes. Large cast iron kettles filled with beans were lowered into a pit and buried, where they will continue to cook until they are raised Wednesday at 11:30 am and fed to the crowd.
