Crow Wing sheriff

SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY - At 10:22 p.m. Monday a woman on the 20000 block of Tame Fish Lake Road reported seeing someone standing by her front door. A deputy checked the residence and found no one. The woman came back to the residence while the deputy was still there and determined she was looking at a shadow from an electric meter.

BURGLARY - Timothy Schubert, 1000 block of Crow Wing County Road 23, Monday reported a burglary.

BOMB SQUAD - The Carlton County Sheriff's Department requested the Crow Wing County Bomb Squad for a Hells Angels rally July 29-Aug. 2.

Brainerd police

THEFTS - Shirley Niederer, 2000 block of Crestview Lane, Monday reported the theft of a bucket from her porch.

Jeffrey Boozell on Monday reported power tools stolen from his vehicle while it was parked on the 600 block of Laurel Street.

CRASHES - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 12:26 p.m. Monday on the 400 block of Eighth Avenue Northeast.

INVESTIGATION - Received a report at 2:31 p.m. Monday of two juvenile girls unable to pay for their meal at Bobbie's Kitchen on South Sixth Street. When an officer arrived one of the juveniles took off running. The other juvenile had already fled the restaurant. The officer recognized the juvenile who fled when he arrived and learned during the investigation the name of the other juvenile. The information has been forwarded to the Crow Wing County juvenile prosecutor for consideration of charges of theft and fleeing on foot.

Baxter police

THEFT - Latoja Pikula, 7000 block of Excelsior Road, Monday reported $484 charged on a credit card without her consent.

CRASHES - No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 10:18 p.m. Monday at Highway 371 and Pine Beach Road.

No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle collision at 8:01 a.m. Monday at Memorywood Drive and Oak Street.
