Ben Currie, a veteran pilot, spent this morning ferrying family and friends on aerial inspection trips around the Brainerd lakes area. Despite his 94 years and lack of vision in one eye Currie showed he has lost neither his zest for flying nor his ability to handle an airplane.

Bernard Buchanen, Carleton, said yesterday that a firm which he heads plans to build a $550,000 long term nursing care home within the year. He said the nursing home will be 75 units.

E.A. Houle, owner of the local Coast-to-Coast stores, has extended his personal invitation to mayor and Mrs. Levi Johnson to be his guests at a dinner, television demonstration during the Minneapolis Aquatennial.

W. R. Hiller, Brainerd golfer, was competing today with 200 others representing practically every golf club in the state in the qualifying round of the state amateur golf tournament in Bemidji.
